The Bubble Bath Fairy

Good morning all!
Today I'm sharing a little fairy easel card with you!

Meet The Bubble Bath Fairy from the La Pashe
Gnomes & Fairies CD Rom
Perfect for so many occasions!
The DP is from the CD & there are many more on there!
I've added the sentiment as the stop, some ruffled ribbon & a pretty butterfly
 charm to embellish!

Here's a closer look at her! I've glittered her up a bit but I'm not sure
you can see it in the picture!
I love all the detail in the background, it seems such a shame to cover it up!

Here's a little view from the side showing the fold if you're not familiar.
You can also see the dimension of the ruffled ribbon!
Thanks so much for popping in, your visits are appreciated!
If you have time to leave a comment, I'll know you've been & can return the favour!

I've coloured the image using a mix of flexmarkers & promarkers.
The papers are from Southfield Stationers
The sentiment was made on my pc.
The heart border was made using a Martha Stewart punch.

Here's a closer lok at the image.

Welcome Little One

Hi all,
I have another card to share with you!
Sorry, it's a fairy! They seem to be right on trend just now! lol
This card is my DT card for the challenge over at
The Crafting Cafe. This month's, theme is

I've gone a little bit out there this time, with a little fab n funky style!

My card base is a 6 x6 scalloped square.
The DP I have used is from Lidl.
I always buy a load of these when they have them!
This image was supplied by our sponsor this month

The Stamping Boutique

I used a Martha Stewart Heart punch for the border, wrapped some
button twine around, then made the flower by layering up some
hessian flowers which came in a bag from Poundland,
& added a button centre.

Here's a closer look at the image!
I coloured her up with my flexmarkers then cut out with an
oval nestie. I inked with a chalk inkpad then matted onto a scalloped oval.

A little side view to show the decorated inside too!
The sentiment was created on my PC!

Bowling Gnome

Good Morning all!
Has everyone got their Gnomes & Fairies CD's from

La Pashe yet?
I've got mine & I'd like to share this card that I made with you!

It's a type of pop up card!
This little guy is called Bowling Gnome!
What a sweet & cheeky little smile he has!
This card base is 8x8 inch, with lot's of folds and it can stand up on it's own,

a side view to show the folds

but, it folds flat for posting!
I found a tutorial for this type of card when I was doing a bit of blog hopping.
I thought I had bookmarked the page but it seems not. So, I'm sorry I can't share a link to it!
I will of course keep looking.
I decoupaged up the Gnome using Pinflair glue & popped the sentiment up for
some added dimension. The only extra embellishments I've added are
a couple of buttons threaded with a
little bit of recycled twine from a clothes tag.
Thanks for popping in! If you haven't already ordered a CD,
I wouldn't hang about! These guys are very popular!

Good morning all!
Finally, I have a new card to share with you!

This little lady is The Cleaning Fairy from the new Fairies & Gnomes CD from

The papers are from the CD too!
The square card base is 8x8inches.
The fairy is decoupaged using gel glue for dimension.
I cut out the background image using a spellbinders circle die.
The pink CS mat was cut with a spellbinders scalloped circle die.
I used my favourite Martha Steward Doily punch for the border.
A little bit of ribbon & lace adds a girly touch along with some card candi
& of course a touch of glamour dust.

The inside of the card is decorated too.

Not sure if you can see the sparkle in the photo below!

Happy Chinese New Year

Good Morning all,
I'm back with another card to share with you!
This one is for Chinese New Year!
So to everyone who celebrates,
"Gong Hay Fat Choy!"
I'm hoping it's okay as I normally use traditional red & gold but
I just really wanted to play with these colours this time!

2015 is the Year of the Sheep (or Goat) & I thought this little pair
Even better, you can pick them up for free at the moment!
I used my promarkers to shade them a little, then cut out with a Spellbinders
die then inked with distress ink whilst still in the die.
The sentiment was done on the PC.
The gorgeous papers came my way when a DT friend Sammy, was having a
blog candy giveaway, so I'm sorry I can't tell you where they are from!

I finished off the card with three buttons from my stash.
I didn't have time to decorate the inside as I wanted to catch the light,
but I have done so now!
Thanks for popping by, I hope you like my little creation!

Love Hearts

I have another card to share with you!
This is the Valentine card I made for my husband. I couldn't take a photo
of it before as all my photo's appear on his phone too!

I wanted to keep it fairly clean & simple but a little bit in your face too!
It's an A6 base with an added a panel that was embossed using a piece of sequin waste,
then inked with a liquid chalk inkpad. The sentiment was printed directly
on to the panel using my PC. Next I cut two hearts from some red & white dotty paper
using a sizzix embosslit. I love how that baby cuts & embossed at the same time!
I covered the hearts in clear ink & heat embossed with clear embossing powder!
I wish at this point that I had some UTEE but I don't, so,
I repeat the process until I get the result I want!

You can see the high gloss here!
I added some red & white twine & tied a little bow just to finish it off!
I hope you like my little card which features another of my favourite techniques!
If you have a favourite technique, why not make a project using it & share it with us in the latest challenge over at The Crafting Cafe!

My Favourite Technique

Hi everyone, the challenge for February over at The Crafting Cafe is
Your Favourite Technique!
Unfortunately, our original sponsor for this month had to pull out but Sammy,
one of the DT, has kindly stepped in to sponsor the challenge instead!

I have to admit to having far too many favourites to choose from!
I thought I'd share this card with you as my DT project.

It's made using a decoupage image, from La Pashe.
This is available as a pre printed sheet, a download or on the
Best of La Pashe 2014 CD Rom

I cut it out & layered it up using pinflair glue then
placed on a round rocker card.

I also tied a big double bow with some faux silk ribbon.
I hope you like it & I hope you can play in the challenge over at
The Crafting Cafe
to show us your favourite technique!

I'll Miss You

Hi all, I have a card to share with you today!
This is one that I made for someone at work who is moving
to work in another location within the service.
I'm really going to miss her as we have worked really well together
but, I'm looking forward to working with the next person too!

We have become great friends & amongst other things, I've helped her with
learning to knit. We're hoping to still get together from time to time & also to share
our knitting projects, stories & the likes as well as social occasions!
Of course I had to do a knitting themed card!
I did some tiny knitting. The needles are made from cocktail sticks with a
little bead on the end. I filed down the sharp points a little.

I rolled the wool into a little ball & added a strip of paper as a ball band.
The sentiment was done on the PC.
Thanks so much for looking, I hope you like it!
