Good Morning Bloggers!

This month, the theme is One For The Boys!
Here's my card

The image I have used is the fantastic
from one of this months sponsors

Grab a Banner

We are also sponsored this month by
I'll share a card using one of their fantastic images a bit later on!

A closer look at the image!
As soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it!
I used a matt black card base then used white linen embossed & matt black
 cardstock to matt & layer.
The image was printed onto the linen CS

The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards
I added matt of black cs cut with a circle nestie.
The sprinkled a few stars which were punched from black glossy finish CS.

I also decorated the inside of the card.
I was thrilled with how this one turned out, it was exactly as I pictured
it in my head! Something that doesn't always happen for me! lol!
I hope you like my card & I can't wait to see what you create!

This time, I thought I'd share a quick Evening Reception Acceptance card I made.
I apologise in advance for the photos as they aren't great!

The image I have used is Scottish Thistle from Just Inklined
I've used this image for thank you cards, sympathy cards wedding invitations
to mention just a few & it has always gone down well!
Here's a closer look!

I cut the image out with a circle nestie & my intention was to either ink it while
it was still in the die or to ink the edge.
Those of you who looked closely will by now have noticed I did neither.
Ooopsy! lol
I coloured the image with promarkers this time
The matt behind the image is actually a cog die but I liked the edgeing.
I used some of the little pieces that it cut out as embellishments
instead of gems.
This card is totally flat for posting.
Thanks for hopping by!

Honeycomb The Bear

Good Morning lovely blog peeps!
Happy Thursday to you all, nearly the weekend!
It's been quite a week here so far so I'm looking forward to a bit of normality!
Being Thursday, it's time for me to share a Just Inklined Card with you!

The cute little guy I have used this time is
isn't he just adorable!
Here's a closer look!

Don't say I told you but.... this is one of the free images available over at
Make sure you pop on over & check out all of the images!
I know there are several new ones available!

I coloured up Honeycomb with a mix of promarkers & flexmarkers.
To match the paper I have used, which is from Papermania.
I got the pack a couple of years ago & they were a life saver!
I've inked all the edges with distress ink, die-cut some snowflakes which were also
inked & layerd then added a double bow with some ribbon from my stash

Tip: I decorated the inside of the card too!
I just love doing this as it's more fun than a plain insert,
it also helps to balance the card out too!!

Thanks for popping in & I hope you like my card!

I'd like to enter a couple of challenges:
Fan- Tastic Tuesday - Use A Patterened Paper

I die cut her with a Sizzix label die, then inked with Antique Linen &
Old Paper distress inks while still in the die!
The flowers & leaves are punched with various punches.
I added a self adhesive gem added to the centre of the flowers.

A little side view to show the raffia fastening & another little

For A Child

Good morning lovelies,
I's time for a brand new challenge over at
The theme this time is For A Child!
Here's my card!

I decided to go for a traditional/vintage Christmas Card!
I have used Pyramid Decoupage & papers from the Boys To Men CD,
available from the Ooh La La Shop
I just loved this image of children with their dog & their ice/snow dragon!
The little guy in the crown is just too cute!
Isnt it fantastic?

I've added lots of glitter but I'm afraid I just couldn't capture it
without my card going awry! The ribbon I have used is actually a lovely
dove grey colour but it hasn't photographed too well either!
Roll on the better weather & better light for taking piccies!
You don't have to use Ooh La La products to take part in the
challenge but it does make us smile when you do!
There is also a great freebie in the shop that you could use!
