They are bringing us a new range of "Wrinklies at The Movies "
& some female versions of "The Grumps"
Here's one of the cards I've made as a sample for the show!

This is Bloomin' Beaches!
You'd think a day at the beach would be fun but just look at the weather!
A real Birthday Treat NOT! Poor Thing!
The Decoupage is easy to cut out & I've layered it with pinflair glue.
I've used an A5 card blank & the DP I have used is from La Pashe too.
I distressed the edges of the DP & the image with a pair of serrated scissors
then  inked with liquid chalk.

I've added some Anita's 3d Clear Gloss to the raindrops & her glasses.

I've wrapped some beaded twine around the & added a piece of
burlap/hessian from my stash.
The little fish charm just landed where it is so I attached that too!
The shells are die cut with Marianne Creatables & also inked with liquid chalk!
I hope you catch the show!
Thanks for popping in!
I'd like to enter this little card in a few challenges:

Ironing Fairy -La Pashe

Hi all, Happy Friday!
Today's card is one I made recently using the
Gomes & Faries CD from La Pashe
Hands up who has the Gnomes & Faires Too CD on order?

This is the Ironing Fairy, if you hadn't already guessed!
I think we could all do with one of these!
I cut her out with a Spellbinders Grand Circle Die & matted on to a
Scalloped Circle. The base card was done the opposite way round.
The paper & sentiment is also from the CD & I've added a ribbon bow to embellish.

A little side view to show the dimension!
Here's a little heads up, La Pashe will be on Create & Craft TV tomorrow,
I'll post more details then but keep the 10am & 2.00pm slots in your day free!
Thanks so much for popping in today!
I hope you like my little card!

Doppleganger Take2

Good morning all!
Happy HUmp Day!
Here's another little card using a sepia toned image from a
La Pashe decoupage sheet!

I used the decoupage on another card just recently!
This one is for an anniversary!
I've used a 6"x6" Kraft Card blank for the base.
The DP is from my scraps & matted on to some very dark brown CS
I wrapped this with some twine from my stash.
The image was cut out using a spellbindes die & edged with some copper gilding wax
I did the same with a matt of Kraft.
The sentiment is from LOTV & was stamped & embossed with Copper EP.
I ran a bit of gilding wax around the edge too.
The little beads are from my stash!

That's it from me, I hope you like it!
Nice & simple & super speedy!

I distressed the edges & inked with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.
I made the sentiment in my graphics programme

The lace & vintage seam binding are from my stash as are the flowers & leaves.

The Cat Is Out Of The Bag

Hi all, I hope you're well!
I have something different to share with you today!
This is my very first post as part of the DT over at

I was delighted to receive an email inviting me to join
the team of lovely & very talented ladies!
I'm super excited to be working with them all & with Eureka Stamps too!

The challenge theme for this week is
You can find the rules here

Now, here's my card.

The proverbial cat I mentioned is actually a
The image is available as both a rubber & digi stamp.
I used the digi image to make my little CAS 1st Birthday card.
I printed the image out several times, on some paper from my snippets pile.
Next, I cut out sections & layered them up for some dimension.
The stripes were coloured with a prisma pencil to add definition.
The sentiment was printed directly on to the Kraft card base,
using a free font called Kirsten ITC.

The ribbon is upcycled, (it's those loops you find on clothes
to keep them on the hanger) the buttons are from my stash!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like my little card!
I had lots of fun making it up!
I hope you can play along in the challenge!
